Help us get started.
Every friendship we launch will start with people like you. Give, volunteer, partner, or connect us with someone who could benefit. Every bit helps us reach our first matches in Colorado.
Your gift goes to work right away.
Right now, donations build the foundation every friendship needs: recruiting and preparing volunteers, insurance, cooking kits for shared meals, and support for our first matches. Amicitia Reciproca is a registered 501(c)(3), so your gift is tax-deductible to the extent the law allows.
Volunteering right now.
We aren't matching volunteers yet, so for now we're working with a small group. CSU students in nutrition, food science, public health, or the Colorado School of Public Health can take on a mentored project, such as an honors project or graduate mentoring, and learn about food as medicine after spinal cord injury. People in Fort Collins can also join a shared dinner with our founder and his caregivers to see how the program works. If that's you, send us a note through our contact page and tell us a little about yourself. We aren't able to take other volunteer requests, including from outside the United States, at this time.
Partner with us in Northern Colorado.
We're looking for partners who share our goals: rehabilitation hospitals, university programs, local businesses, food and grocery partners, and disability organizations across Northern Colorado. Whether you can offer expertise, space for shared meals, in-kind support, or a referral, we'd love to talk about building this together.
